The Da Vinci Code

Title: The Da Vinci Code
Author: Dan Brown
Number of pages: 480

The Da Vinci Code is one of my favorite books ever.
It's one of the hard-to-put-down books!

The novel is very engaging, thrilling, provokingly intriguing, and I think The New York Times says it the best :
"Wow..Blockbuster perfection..An exhiliratingly brainy thriller. Not since the advent of Harry Potter has an author so flagrantly delighted in leading readers on a breathless chase"

Further comments:
Before starting to read it, I was told that the language level is difficult and complicated to read but, when I read it, it was quite the contrary.
The reason some people find it difficult- I think -might be because it revolves around Symbology and Freemasonry, which makes the usage of symbolic and masonic vocabularies and facts essential in Dan Brown's novels. It's not necessary to be familiar with those vocabularies to be able to read and understand the novel, which is a great advantage of Dan Brown's narration. You never feel lost while reading about those stuff (Which I'm sure most of us know a little -if nothing- about)
